Old Tom Gin Old Fashioned

Making an Old Fashioned with an Old Tom gin or a Genever instead of a whisky works really well.

INGREDIENTS

60mL Old Tom Gin
1 bar spoon of simple syrup (or a cube of sugar)
2 dashes of Angostura bitters
Orange peel to garnish

METHOD

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass (aka tumbler or rocks glass) with ice. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.
