COCKTAIL RECIPES > The Fitzgerald
Channel your inner Mad Men with The Fitzgerald cocktail. This retro tipple was invented by legendary bartender Dale DeGroff, at the Rainbow Room in New York in the early 1990s. Similar to a Gin Sour but with the addition of bitters for a well-balanced sweet and sour drink.
40mL Dry gin
20mL Fresh lemon juice
20mL Sugar syrup
2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice. Serves in a chilled or well-iced glass. Garnish with thin slice of lemon or lemon zest (optional).
