A true taste of summer – serve this quintessential British cocktail with orange, fresh ginger, basil and tonic water.
INGREDIENTS
Makes 4
300mL each of Gin and Sweet Vermouth
175mL Cointreau or any other orange liqueur
1 orange, halves, sliced plus extra to serve
20g ginger, sliced
Chilled tonic water or lemonade
Basil Leaves, to garnish
METHOD
1. Combine gin, vermouth and Cointreau into a jug.
2. Add orange and ginger, then chill.
3. Strain into glasses filled with ice and pour over mixer.
4. Serve with basil and orange.
