A popular cocktail dating back to the early 1900s featuring gin, cherry, violets, and lemon for captivating floral flavour. Tasty, simple to make and really pretty.
INGREDIENTS
50mL Dry Gin
15mL Maraschino liqueur
15mL Lemon juice
Splash of Creme de violette liqueur
METHOD
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake a strain into a coupe and garnish with a lemon peel or cherry.
Try using a dry gin with a strong juniper profile for the Aviation, however all gins will work nicely.
