IWSC 2022 spirits medals winners
The world's most established and trusted drinks awards - International Wine and Spirit Competition announced the medal winners for its 2022 spirit awards and we are thrilled to acknowledge some big wins for our featured gins.

The International Wine and Spirits Competition sets the international benchmark for quality and standing out from the crowd in the drinks industry and has done so for over 50 years. The awards given in the competition are considered high honours in the industry. A big congratulations to the following Gin Society member gins.

Pink Pepper Gin
Pink Pepper Gin
Audemus Spirits’s Pink Pepper Gin won Gold in the Contemporary Dry Gin category. “Bold and bright, here we have fantastic notes of black pepper spice on the nose, alongside a charming perfume of dried herbs. Fresh and crisp, yet beautifully round. An absolutely fascinating flavour profile and an exquisite example of its kind.”  Born from a desire to create an aromatically bold and complex new-style gin and steering away from the straight and dry juniper-lead style of gins from the yesteryears, Audemus Spirit's have created a spirit which will evolve and change depending on how it’s enjoyed. Little Juniper Gin
Little Juniper Gin
Little Juniper Distilling’s Signature Gin won Silver in the Contemporary Dry Gin category. “Green and grassy character with aromatics of lime leaf, florals and anise. The palate is herbal with good flavour complexity and creamy notes, which carry through onto the finish. Good balance and definition.” Little Juniper Signature Gin is a small batch, handcrafted, 100% organic gin, designed for flavour and sustainability. Australia
Tanglin Orchard Gin
Tanglin Orchard Gin
Tanglin’s Orchard Gin won Silver in the London Dry Gin category. “A resinous assortment of juniper, citrus, tea and herbs on the nose, with hot spice and lavender developing on the palate giving a very classic example of this spirit.” A gin that articulates local flavours, bringing together 11 different botanicals that represent the disparate cultures and ethnicities that define the Singaporean identity. Brighton Pavillion Strength Gin
Brighton Pavillion Strength Gin
Brighton Spirits’s Pavilion Strength Gin won Bronze in the London Dry Gin category. “Long and lingering with soft fragrant botanicals and an elegant hint of green tea.”  This is a subtle, ruminative gin and, thanks to its softness, Brighton Gin is also delicious sipped neat, over ice with a slice of orange. Brighton Gin’s botanicals include lime, milk thistle and locally grown coriander seeds. It’s also 100% vegan and gluten free! United Kingdom
Hickson Rd. Australian Dry Gin
Hickson Rd. Australian Dry Gin
Hickson House’s Hickson Rd. Australian Dry Gin won Bronze in the Contemporary Dry Gin category. “Floral, subtle yet zesty with juniper, liquorice hints and wooded herbs. Bright, grassy, sweet.” Influenced by the traditional London Dry style gin, featuring juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, orris root, liquorice root, orange peel, Oolong tea, Australian native thyme, finger lime and aniseed myrtle. Makes for a delicious citrusy martini. With a deep respect for Australia’s history, environment and future, Hickson House distill the best that Australia has to offer. Australia
