What is Gin Liqueur?
What is Gin Liqueur?
There are two main differences between gin and gin liqueur, firstly the alcohol percentage. In Australia, a spirit must be bottled at a minimum of 38% ABV (alcohol by volume) to be classed as a gin and secondly, contain juniper. Gin liqueurs are considerably lighter (ABV around 20%) and are typically mixed with soda, versatile in cocktails and sipped on the rocks.
